How PERS Publications Collects and Uses Information

PERS Publications respects the privacy and confidentiality of researchers, authors, customers and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, why it is collected and how it may be used when you access our website or request our services.

Information We May Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, country, institutional affiliation, manuscript details, selected service, billing information and communication history.

When you submit a manuscript or supporting document, the files may contain author names, affiliations, research content, references, reviewer comments and other publication-related information.

How We Use Information

  • To review and respond to service enquiries.
  • To prepare quotations and confirm requested services.
  • To provide editing, formatting and publication support.
  • To communicate regarding delivery, revisions or support.
  • To issue invoices and maintain transaction records.
  • To improve website functionality and customer service.
  • To comply with legal, financial or regulatory obligations.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment service providers. PERS Publications does not normally store complete debit-card, credit-card, UPI or banking credentials on its own website.

Information Sharing

Personal information is not sold to advertisers. Information may be shared only with authorised team members, service providers or professional specialists where reasonably necessary to deliver the requested service, process payments, maintain the website or comply with applicable law.

Confidentiality and Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse, alteration or loss. However, no online transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

Information and service records may be retained for as long as reasonably required to complete the service, resolve disputes, provide support, maintain financial records and fulfil legal obligations.

Academic Integrity

Responsible Publication Practices

Our services are intended to improve clarity, presentation and procedural readiness—not to enable academic misconduct.

Publication Ethics

Our Commitment to Ethical Academic Support

PERS Publications is committed to responsible academic support and professional integrity. Customers are expected to ensure that all manuscripts, data, figures, tables, references and supporting materials submitted to us are lawfully owned or used with appropriate permission.

Originality and Proper Attribution

Authors remain responsible for the originality and accuracy of their work. All ideas, data, language, figures and materials obtained from other sources should be appropriately cited or acknowledged.

Unacceptable Practices

PERS Publications does not knowingly support or encourage:

  • Plagiarism or deliberate concealment of copied material.
  • Fabrication, falsification or manipulation of research data.
  • Purchase or sale of authorship positions.
  • Submission of manuscripts without the consent of all authors.
  • Duplicate or simultaneous submission where prohibited.
  • Manipulation of editorial or peer-review procedures.
  • False claims regarding journal acceptance or indexing.
  • Use of our services to facilitate academic dishonesty.

Authorship Responsibility

Customers are responsible for confirming that every listed author has made an appropriate contribution and has approved the manuscript and its submission. PERS Publications does not determine authorship eligibility or resolve authorship disputes.

Research Ethics and Permissions

Where applicable, authors should obtain appropriate ethical approval, participant consent, institutional permission, copyright permission, conflict-of-interest declarations and funding disclosures before submission.

Scope of Our Support

Our role may include language editing, formatting, document preparation, journal guidance, similarity-report review and submission assistance. Responsibility for the accuracy, legality, ethical compliance and final approval of the manuscript remains with the author.

No Guaranteed Publication Outcome

PERS Publications does not guarantee manuscript acceptance, publication, indexing, citation performance or completion of peer review within a particular period. Such decisions remain entirely with independent journals, editors, reviewers, publishers and indexing organisations.

03
Editorial Independence

Peer-Review Support Without Interference

Independent journals and their appointed reviewers retain full control over peer-review and publication decisions.

Peer-Review and Editorial Independence

Our Role During the Peer-Review Process

PERS Publications is an independent academic and publication-support service provider. We do not act as the editorial board of a journal and do not control the formal peer-review process conducted by journals or publishers.

Independent Editorial Decisions

Journal editors and appointed reviewers independently determine whether a manuscript should be sent for review, revised, accepted or rejected. PERS Publications does not influence, override or guarantee these decisions.

Reviewer-Comment Support

When an author receives reviewer or editorial comments, we may assist with:

  • Organising reviewer observations into a clear checklist.
  • Improving the language and structure of author responses.
  • Formatting a point-by-point response document.
  • Aligning revised files with documented changes.
  • Checking whether the response addresses each comment.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for determining the scientific, technical and factual response to each reviewer comment. Any recommended revision should be reviewed and approved by the author before resubmission.

Confidentiality

Reviewer comments, editorial correspondence and revised manuscripts shared with us are treated as confidential service materials and are used only for the agreed support purpose.

Prohibited Interference

PERS Publications does not participate in fabricated peer review, reviewer impersonation, undisclosed manipulation of reviewer suggestions or any attempt to improperly influence an editorial decision.

PERS Publications provides assistance with preparation and communication. Final peer-review and publication decisions remain solely with the relevant journal or publisher.
04
Fair and Transparent Resolution

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund requests are assessed according to the confirmed scope, work completed, delivery status and supporting circumstances.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation, Refund Eligibility and Resolution

PERS Publications aims to provide services according to the scope, fees and delivery terms confirmed with the customer. This policy explains when a service may be cancelled and when a full or partial refund may be considered.

Cancellation Before Work Begins

A customer may request cancellation before the service has commenced. Where no substantive work has started, the payment may be eligible for a refund, subject to deduction of any non-recoverable payment-processing, banking or administrative charges where applicable.

Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once assessment, editing, formatting, consultation, document preparation or any other confirmed work has begun, a full refund may not be available. Any eligible partial refund will be calculated after considering the work completed, time spent and resources allocated.

Completed or Delivered Services

Services that have been substantially completed and delivered are generally non-refundable. However, customers should contact us promptly when the delivered work materially differs from the confirmed scope so that the concern can first be reviewed and corrected where reasonably possible.

Situations Generally Not Eligible for Refund

  • Journal rejection or an unfavourable editorial decision.
  • Delay caused by a journal, reviewer, publisher or indexing body.
  • Failure to achieve a desired impact factor or indexing outcome.
  • Change of mind after substantive work has commenced.
  • Delay caused by incomplete or late information from the customer.
  • Failure to review or approve files within the agreed period.
  • Services already completed according to the confirmed scope.
  • Issues outside the reasonable control of PERS Publications.

Service Corrections

Where a concern relates to an omission or error within the confirmed service scope, PERS Publications may first offer an appropriate correction or revision instead of a refund.

Submitting a Refund Request

Refund requests should be submitted by email with the customer’s name, invoice or transaction details, service information and a clear explanation of the concern. Supporting documents may be requested where necessary.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be initiated through the original payment method. After approval, the time required for the amount to appear may depend on the payment gateway, bank or card issuer. Processing may generally take between 7 and 10 business days.
